Eyes on the Prize Sport Fishing LLC is a Lake Erie Fishing charter targeting some of the best tasting fresh water fish walleye and yellow perch. Eyes on the Prize Sport Fishing LLC is owned and operated by Capt. Nate Mathias, a full insured, US Coast Guard Captain, and Ohio Licensed Guide.

If you are looking for a fun day on the water look no further for an action packed and relaxing day on the Walleye Capital of the World! Captain Nate grew up fishing Lake Erie and enjoys sharing his passion with others!

Capt. Nate's 2007 Baha Cruiser 251 GLE is powered by twin 140Hp Suzuki outboards that can get you out on the fish quick and is conveniently located at Wild Wings Marina, just minutes down the channel from the fishing grounds. The boat is outfitted with new Lowrance electronics, Cisco Fishing Systems, AquaTraction Advanced Marine Flooring, and top of the line gear. The boat also has a hard top to help get out of the sun keep or the crew dry in the event of rain or rough seas. She can accommodate up to 6 people, so grab your friends and lets go fishing! 

The Western Basin of Lake Erie is known for its walleye population and staging grounds for the hatch in the spring leading to trophy walleye catches. When the water temperature heats up so do the Yellow Perch. As soon as you catch one its a race to scoop a minnow and get your line back down to the bottom and score another!

All rods, reels, terminal tackle, lures, and bait is included in the price of the trip! We usually have a small cooler with bottled water on board but feel free to bring any other snacks and refreshments. NO glass or hard liquor is permitted. Just be sure to purchase your fishing license before the trip.
